ประเทศลาวได้มีประกาศจากกระทรวงสาธารณสุขว่าด้วยการยุติการนำเข้า ผลิต แจกจ่าย บริการ และนำใช้ผลิตภัณฑ์ที่มีสารปรอท ลงวันที่ 15 พฤศจิกายน 2019 โดยมีสาระสำคัญว่า ในปลายปี 2020

Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Ministry of Public Health, Thailand organized a public hearing for a draft Chemical Act (2nd draft) on 21 October 2019. Approximately 100 participants audited a presentation given by FDA officer and joined a Q&A session.

Thailand updated a list of hazardous substances

Thailand published a Notification of Ministry of Industry B.E. 2562 (2019): List of hazardous substances (No.5) in the Royal Gazette on 16 October 2019. Following substances were added to the List 5.1 controlled by Department of Industrial Works (DIW), Ministry of Industry, as a Type 3 Hazardous Substance.
